MYS 2015 – PRINCIPALITY OF MONACO – TWO WAYS TO BE ELEGANT

In this picture, taken at Monaco Yacht Club during the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2015, you can see the essence of a bespoke suit: it has to follow and enhance your personality not create a “uniform” style! Christofer Kaprelian is wearing a special solaro fabric suit with single breast and peak lapel jacket.
Note the strong X shape of the front of jacket, the extra wide lapel, the double “inpuntura” and the particular sewing of the sleeves on the shoulder. We call this work  “a sbuffo” as it recall the ancient princes bluse. On the other side Paolo Pontiggia is wearing a classic grey Dormeuil single breast suit. It is a three buttons jacket ironed at two, the opening on chest is the same than in a two buttons one but with the hand-made button hole that shows the unicity of the cloth. Note the shoulders that are mounted in a classic Neapolitan “a camicia” way but with a very fine support that makes them a little more formal.
